NEW from Natural History

Hi guys, today I want to show you a few new pieces from the Natural History on-line shop. First up are these cheeky Le Cymepaye cards which come as a set of ten:

Aren't they just adorable? These monkeys also come in cushion form, with a few extra designs like this monkey lazily stretching across two cushions:

If, for some reason, these monkeys do not tickle your fancy then there are flamingos-a-go-go too in the new collection:

Flamingos are going to be huge this season so why not treat yourself and be one step ahead of the crowd?

Finally we have these fantastic 'hidden boxes'. A great storage solution for those not-so-pretty items sitting on your shelf. These come in a selection of different colours and designs but my personal fave is the Old Paper Drawing box which is the one in the middle in the picture below. The colours are just beautiful.

The Strange Places

Since the beginning of this year, Natural History has been stocking more and more international stores.  Wonderful as it is to see our designs in all the fantastic UK shops we stock, from Graham and Greene to Liberty, from the Burford Garden Company to Merchant Archive, it's fascinating and very exciting to imagine the products further afield, now that we are carried in the US, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and all over Europe.

Over the next few weeks I'm going to highlight some of our new stockists because I know that many of you are reading this from outside the UK and might prefer to find Natural History products locally.

Flights of Fancy

Wallpaper seems to have a Marmite-esque quality about it. Some love it (I most definitely fall into this camp) and some think there is nothing worse. I often try to persuade people to my way of thinking as it can really make a statement in a room. My latest wallpaper obsession is this rather exquisite Flights of Fancy paper from House of Hackney. Whad'ya think?

Now for a close-up. Just look at the detail on the birds.

I love the paper in this duck-egg blue hue but it is also available in cream if you wanted to erm, tone it down a little.

Maximalism at it's best in my wallpaper-loving opinion. But where do you stand, do you love it or hate it?

Both colours are available from the House of Hackney website and are priced at £148 a roll. If this is not your kind of thing do have a peek at the website anyway as they have some fantastic fabric collections as well as lots more wallpaper.
